Tamanu + Borage Herbal Salve

A rich botanical salve built around two of the most nourishing oils we work with.

Tamanu oil is pressed from the nuts of the tamanu tree and has been used in island skincare traditions for generations. Velvety, green-gold, and deeply conditioning, it's the oil people reach for when skin looks weathered or uneven, and it's long been used to soften the appearance of scars, marks, and rough texture.

Borage seed oil does the quiet work underneath. It's one of the richest plant sources of gamma-linolenic acid, an omega-6 fatty acid your skin uses to keep its moisture barrier intact. When that barrier is running low, skin looks dull, feels tight, and flakes at the edges. Borage helps it hold water again, so skin feels supple and calm instead of stripped. It's especially welcome on skin that runs dry, sensitive, or easily irritated, and it melts in cleanly without leaving a heavy film.

Blended with sweet almond oil and finished with a grounding touch of lavender and tea tree. For skin that needs a little extra care. 2 oz.
